Its user-friendly interface offers quick access to its main functions, which are those of sharing and searching for documents. Whether you are searching for specific files, or you just wish to share pieces of information with the other users, WinMx Music facilitates these operations through its incorporated search engine, and the library that it displays on the main screen. In order to search for files from other users, you are either able to search for them by file type for a more precise searching result, or you are able to perform a more general search, by selecting the "All Types" icon.

The "Library" section displayed on the main screen allows you to share information with the other users in an organized manner, as the files that you decide to share will be automatically displayed in the category they are part of: Audio/Video/Programs/Documents/Images. The program further enables you to personalize the interface, in order to best suit your interests, by clicking "View" on the main screen, and by selecting or deselecting the available features. Furthermore, in order to make your use of the program even more enjoyable, it also allows you to listen to your favorite music, without your having to open another application. All you should do is just add your file list to the MP3 playlist, and click on the "Play" button from the WinMix Music Media Player.
